Siemens sets up its first Technology & Application Center for machine tool industry

· Located in Peenya Industrial area, Bangalore, Technology & Application Center (TAC) is the first such facility in India by Siemens for the machine tool industry

· Spread across 6500 square feet, TAC will allow Indian machine tool manufacturers and users to get a hands-on experience of the latest CNC technologies and solutions from Siemens and its partners

· TAC will also organize knowledge sharing programs, provide application support and training to customers and educational institutes among many other initiatives

Fanuc & Rockwell Automation to collaborate

September 11, 2014 - Fanuc and Rockwell Automation announced an advanced global collaboration to provide customers a more seamless and integrated manufacturing solution. The two companies have expanded their initial collaboration, started four years ago, in the CNC and Logix programmable automation controller (Logix PAC) environments with further integration of robotics, ROBOMACHINEs and enterprise software products. The effort will have an initial impact on applications in the automotive industry, where customers can experience benefits of a preferred integration plug-and-play automation and information solution.
